                          Ma Durga Arrived! Happy Durgotsav…

Durga Puja…’Pujo Aschey’…two words gives instant smile…light up our faces, even if say in our head! “Ma Durga”- The power of the Universe and a symbol of female dynamism.

A real magic moment, everything around us appears to be wrapped in happiness and radiance, for all ages and class across the region, especially popular among Bengalis… an intimate & intuitive overall environment.

It reminds my childhood days, now being responsible to organize & participating in the proceedings.
As soon the sparks feels hearing the beats of the brums, brings rhythm to everyone’s heart, and vibrates across locality, states or even Continents…” Ma Durga has arrived”…

Today is sasthi (6th day), worship starts…through display of idols, the décor, the music, the lighting, the theme, and individuals & collective programs & fests. Durga Puja is always been special for everyone around eastern part of the country. Special to the extent, that indulge begin right from shopping, new wardrobes, cloths, footwear’s, accessories, make ups, amazing foods & drinks, restaurants, hardly in homes… anything . Everything comes to standstill, conventional works being abandoned, officials are on leaves. We all forget our petty differences for a short while, during this period of time.Undertake Anjali’s, endearing adda, touring, programs, cultural activities, complete freedom, free from routine bindings…

But Kolkata is where all the action is in full display, state of Art pandals, lakhs of visitors, planning, hopping different pandals, never sleeps during these five days, not even at night. Yes! So many pandals, Idols, decorations to admire, so much to do…
It’s the spirit of Durga Puja, unique sound of ‘dhaks’ & excitement counts, a spirit of joy and contentment, with belief that ma Durga will solve our entire problem and lead us into a better World.

We welcome and renew our faith in brotherhood through this peculiar unity that binds in all in this occasion. I’m also waiting to join to the festivities, fun & togetherness… time for family & friends & relatives…
Hereby announce to leave for participating in the core activities, while remain out of station for next 14 days that include a trip to Arunachal Pradesh along with family…

As such my Good Wishes &  Puja Greetings to everyone… Stay Happy!…See you all after the break. Let me enjoy! Invite everyone to join the lively fray at Kolkata.
