Spiky Salvia Spendens-Garden(15)

It is also known as Scarlet sage. I got the Salvia Splendens seedlings from the nursery grown from seeds. Actually, the red salvia flower is known as Salvia Splendens. However, there are other colours too… and widely used in any garden to enhance landscape looks, because the flowers are durable, besides the bright red is eye catcher.

The main stream is punched to make it bushy. It likes full sun; grow well in average soil, not so decease prone… that’s the basic charactertics. Yes available at… Red-Rs.1/- & colour-Rs.3/- each only.

So far the photographs are concern, find mixed colours, although this year I planted red colour variety, while the rest colour one’s are from my office garden, not well nourished! The colour variety looks exciting at the bed and I used to growing for many years, the problem is, colour code of the plant can’t be distinguished from lots at seedlings stage. As such, it is preferred to choose colour for pots & splendens for bed, to have effective display...

Check it out and silently leave with bright colour effects…

Wish! colouful days.. Holi is approaching...
the colourful festival..may gift you all the colours of life, joy & happiness.

Thanks for the visit...
