Watch your Thoughts…

There are several techniques to still the mind. The most difficult of them is to watch your thoughts...

We are aware that the special character of the human intelligence is this ability to step outside itself and watch itself…

“I Know that I am thinking, I know that I exist”

In the west, the philosophers thought this was a great discovery and the conclusion is “I think, therefore I am”- the famous expression of Descartes

But in India, we feel and say “I am, therefore I can think”, a significant difference of psychology. What I am separated from the thoughts…
Thoughts’ is the means by which we can act, but there is something that can stand back & watch the thoughts and it can be free of thought to still it. Means one literally force the thought to be quiet. It is bit difficult but possible, achievable with struggle.

There are different approaches to watch the thoughts..

As a witness, watch the thoughts. That is, witness without involvement, watch their play, find their entry & exists, you are separate as long as you remain separate from the thoughts, and eventually they weaken and become quiet. Observe, from where the thoughts come from, sense of thought entering, moving and going out, while you remain a witness. An interesting event to watch…

We are capable to quiet the mind & withheld thoughts by breath controls. Since breath is the prominent function in the body having an effective link between external and internal consciousness, automatic nervous system. If we make our breath slow & deep our mind and the emotions becomes quiet. You may observe breath to keep the focus of your mind, feel the movements & its releases. If you can’t feel, it will become an imagination. Try with a count of say eight- breathe in & with similar counts- breathe out, for just three breaths. Notice the state of your mind now. If you persist for few minutes daily, you can imagine how much quieter it can become.

Don't think what is it!
If only Peace enters mind, our brain automatically bring silence on its own. Thus peace itself is a different experience, which also pre-exists and one can invoke in into us. It is when the foundation of peace is laid; the one can hold the full capacity of knowledge etc.

Now, do watch your thoughts, eliminate undesirable thoughts, priorities’ selected thoughts…” Everything depends on the intensity and the purpose with which you move forward”.

I like to conclude the post, where every common citizen is concern & the epicenter of all thoughts becomes ANNA and synonymous law to curb corruption. “Anna” our thought supports lies for your precious health, spirit & destiny…
