Formation of Personality! Separate Identity…

What I mean to say “Who Am I”, not a song or album ‘Who am I’ or the film starring Jackie Chan. Even not about ‘Who I am’…

But, a state of transition to “Who Am I”, culminating self inquiry, self realization quite unknowingly, as an obvious reflection on one’s life. None can escape this true progression…
Now, when it actually happens? Remain mostly unrecognized by self or others. Probably we are not conscious of the formation of our personal identity.

Before independent personality formation takes place, one’s minds remain open and heart receptive to responses. But as soon as the personality formation initiates, often resist external influences, that’s the difference.

In order to have effective response, we need to understand what goes on within themselves. Actually, separate identity starts forming at late teenage, known as ego identity and that’s one of the reason why most our problem surfaces.

What they are looking for? Cannot recognize or don’t know it yet… But unconsciously they are looking for “Who Am I”? Subconsciously want to assert their separate identity. Try to discover themselves…

As a matter of fact, at that moment when we place a rule before themselves faces opposition, becomes disobedient...

Think! Why we are attracted to forbidden? Because it forbidden! Since we know our freedom and feel free as to be unbound by all laws and limits…This is the inherit instinct of our origin to possess the Universe.

So when we see a rule, we want to break it! Apply different permutation or combination, for the objective purpose. However children are used to follow the rules we impose, because their separate identity are not yet formed.

Therefore, you have to somehow find a way to convey the limits, without placing it as a rule, preferably as request or offer it as praise. They appreciate it, but they want to be treated as adult or friend.

As soon as, they feel you are trying to be one up, there will be a reaction…If you can treat them as adult they will respect you. When they communicate listen them, ask their opinion...Half task done by your listening and other half they will solve on their own. Offer them support, encouragement and the faith that you know they will handle it, which gives them the strength to proceed.

If they realize you trust them, they will live up to the trust. This is an interesting observation made in the business environment, in offices. Just think about an office environment, where everything everywhere is double checked, because somehow they don’t trust you, and mostly find ways around that double checking towards discrimination's!... This element of trust is extremely important in every aspect of our life...

I am sure, everyone has gone through this phase of “Who Am I”, my objective is to disclose the condition & consequences, right from the stage of formation of personality onwards...
